This 1st generation family business is a dream she had in the early 90's realized today.

  A hidden gem in Richmond, chef rock is super friendly, and makes a damn good chicken po boy and mac. The swamp juice was great too, not too sweet, not too bitter. Can't wait to go back and try the shrimp po boy.

  if you ever get the chance to stop by this restaurant please do it is an amazing soul food spot that hits home if you're looking for comfort food this is the place chef rock is awesome very inviting the food is filled with love and the best part is leaving with a feeling that you have just done something incredibly right after sampling every dish on the menu I was filled with joy followed by a knowledgeable conversation on the history of the restaurant so for a delicious taste of new orleans stop by lilys and dont forget a cup of thirst quenching swamp juice on your way out!!!!!

  This place is a gem! One of those spots where the service and the experience are just as great as the food. From the moment I walked in Chef Rock welcomed me with open arms. The man knows his menu in and out and described everything so well I didn't even have to read it.
